Jim's Birthday In Tucson
We went down to Tuscon this weekend to celebrate our friend Jim's 51st Birthday. It was really a great time because it was also the weekend of the 4th Ave. Annual Art and Craft Fair in downtown Tuscon. Normally the weather in Tuscon is a little cooler than Phoenix.... but I tell ya what.... It was really, really warm this day. 92 degrees and absolutely NO breeze. And there were soooo many people there. If you look (really close) at the second picture I've posted.... you can see "blocks" of people shopping the art fair.

A Celebration Of Life
This last weekend was the Celebration Of Life ceremony for our little friend Nikolas, who we lost one year ago from a sudden illness. He was 9 years old. To celebrate his life, there was a balloon release at the cemetery, with messages for Nik attached to the balloons. Although we were unable to attend the ceremony, I did go there later and released our balloons with a message.
I think it's so wonderful how his mother, my dear friend Kathy does so much to keep the memory of Nikolas alive. The email messages she sends out from time to time, the letters she sends out during the holidays, the little things she still does at his school and the ceremony she held this weekend. She's a very dedicated mother. He may be gone.... but he will never be forgotten.

Remembering You...............
the times we've shared and the
cherished memories too.......
for those memories are
the comfort now........
when we think of you.

We miss you Nik
